Due to COVID-19 many artists have found themselves without work, teaching, technical support. gallery work and exhibitions. IN an attempt to help alleviate some of this Matthew Burrows has instigated the @artistsupportpledge . The concept is a simple one . An artist post an image of their work that they are willing to sell for no more that £200 ( Not including shipping) and then when they have reached £1000 in sales they buy another artists work for £200.

QEST Scholarship at Derix Glass Studio, Taunusstein , Germany
Had a wonderful time at Derix Glass Studio and had an opportunity to turn the pastels inspired pieces into glass works. Using silver stains and red stains and acid etching.
January - February 2020 Recent pastel pieces
From January I have been working away in the studio on a series of pastel on paper. The work is a continuation of the Lightscape pieces with influences from Emil Nolde to Rothko and Bridget Riley to Eva Hesse.

All work is pastel on paper. The small pieces are 23 cm x 23 cm ( Framed) and the large ones 50 cm x 50 cm ( Framed) . All 2019.
